Isn't She Lovely...

Isn't she lovely. Isn't she wonderful. Isn't she precious, less than one minute old. This past Thursday, Apple took the wraps off our new Boston flagship store. My, my...

Lost for words. Beautiful. If the Apple Store that's due to open in Belfast, Ireland later this summer is half as stunning I think I'll need to start paying Apple rent.

This is just amazing. I was expecting something sweet for this store but nothing like this.

Where in the world? PC world!

The thing that impressed me most about that picture is the fact that it has rounded corners. Classy.

Is that Steve Jobs down by the tree? Wearing black shorts!? How dare he.

Wow, story looks awesome. I'll make sure to pay visit and tribute on my next trip to Boston. Structure resembles 5th Ave in New York a little and cramped between two buildings.

so I went to this restaurant with my coworkers last night called Samurai, and I was a little tipsy from free drinks at the HOW conference but we stayed a while and it wore off by the time we got out like two hours later and after lots of sushi and we are about to hail a taxi when I realize lo and behold I am standing smack dab in front of the this store. and of course, it had just closed. just my luck. I shall be returning before the end of my trip, for sure.

Pádraig: I felt it only fitting that a photo of a new Apple Store have rounded corners. Doing my little part to keep Papa Jobs happy.

Jorge: Once here, you will see it's nothing like the Manhattan Cube. Less glass, much more sexy metal. As for the 'cramped' look, that's just Boston. The construction, if it was ever going to happen, had to adhere to some stringent architectural guidelines of the Back Bay.

Breezy: YES! Do not leave this fair city without checking it out. Hell, I pass it twice a day and I've yet to be inside. Sad, I know.

It really stands out from the surrounding architecture, eh? I love the store & the pic, but I have to wonder if the levels weren't tweaked just a hair…or is it really THAT glowy?

apple must have some combined market profitability agreement with the windex company… just an observation noted from the store designs in the last 3 years.. new store in the meat packing district of nyc is pretty nice too, its got that ninja turtle secret warehouse feel too it.. plus the 'apple-windex' store front.

Wonder if those nice Apple stores will make their way to Canada soon.

Just beautiful.

I tried to get in on the day it opened. The line went around the corner and then like 2 or 3 blocks (all the way to commonwealth, basically). I ended up going back the next day. The staircase inside is probably the best part. Its all spirally and entirely made of glass. Crazy stuff.

Brad, I just went inside. took lots of pics. breathtaking. literally. climbing up the three flights of stairs with 50 pounds worth of crap on your back will do that. lol.

So is it supposed to look like a MAC? Is that mottled pavement too much like a keyboard – or am I just the last person to notice this?

Darren I think it's supposed to look like a Mac – Apple designs their own software and their own hardware so they probably designed their own building too.
