Flickr adds Video

Flickr adds video! I am highly excited. Wired has a good writeup about the specifics of the service. Right now I'm anxiously refreshing, awaiting the "upload video" link to appear somewhere.

That is Quack-tastic! Thanks for the heads up Keegan. Hopefully that's your fridge at work – there's a metric crap load of beverages in there!

It's disappointing they couldn’t come up with a more original player design.

@Thommy:

Well, the designer of the "original" player is ok with it. ( http://secretenemyhideout.com )

But honestly, how many different ways can you design a video player…?

@Bob

I agree. Plus I hate when sites have like 30 buttons that you can click on a player, useless. Clean and simple is always the best way to go.

That is SUPER SWEET!

I've been wondering if they were ever going to step up to that game.

I definitely have mixed feelings about Flickr adding videos, flickr has always been associated with anything else just doesn't feel right, right? Connor

btw your source code is flippin hillarious
