Fifty People One Question

Dotcomrade Nathan Heleine and the rest of the gang at Boom Design Group have a killer idea on their hands: Ask 50 people the same question. Film their responses. The lump sum is a project called Fifty People One Question.

The first episode is live and I've been told more videos, in more cities, are in the works. This one asks what you'd wish to happen, before the day is over. My most fave response is 3:30 in, when the man answers, "A nice lady would join me smoking a cigar." Amazing. I want to be that guy's friend.

You know what the problem is with beautiful things like this?

It makes me feel incompetent. I want to make videos like this.

That was terrific. Simply fantastic videography and editing.

Exceptional idea, also. I can't wait to see more.

I sit for days sometimes trying to come up with the next big thing and then ideas like this remind me that all the best ideas are so simple….I agree with Nathaniel B. about the videography and editing…

BTW thats a hottie at 2:27!

Many thanks for the linkage guys, and to everyone who has checked out the project so far. Wanted to give some special thanks to friend and filmmaker extraordinaire, Benjamin Reece of Deltree.

Also a shout out to our very good friend at Sushi & Robots.

We just finished shooting the second film … much more to come!

Cool concept. Anyone know the music used in that video?

I love the old guy "I'm not gonna give the Miss American answer, 'World peace'", and then how it cuts to another guy "World peace". Love the contrast.

@Jon: It's Four Tet. Album: Rounds
