Eric Ryan Anderson Photography

Eric Ryan Anderson is a talented photographer based out of NYC. He is a new friend of mine and I am proud to launch his new website. Be sure to click on an image to see what I call "scoot nav". If you dig around you might even find a photo or two of yours truly.

Site looks great.

FYI: I noticed in Firefox, when I scroll all the way right, and click Back, then click on the next set of photos. The page wants to keep scrolling back to the left, as I try to look at more photos on the right, and we end up in this intense battle. I always win with a simple refresh.

It was really nice, but it took a while to understand that you could click the images to scroll. Maybe something to add in the future?

Love the simple design and the motion, but you've really been lazy – a simple easing algorithm goes a long way :)

Keegan, great job on this site. Simple yet completely and utterly effective. It's nice to catch a glimpse of what you've been working on lately.

Nice and simple – groovy treatment on the nav, I expect we'll start seeing that around the 'ol gallery sites now. :)

Great stuff!

Looks strikingly similar to my good friend Paul Wilkes' site, though I doubt there was inspiration from it.

So, are there three photographers posting work on this site (Eric, Ryan, and Anderson). One has to decode how you have that broken up. The navigation is silly as well. Once you are looking through the photographs you are stuck there…and that makes me not want to go back and look at a specific image.

I'm not feelin this site. There's alot of flaws here but I'll just name a few. As Jonah said, who is Eric Ryan Anderson? There is no About section. Next, the navigation is really screwy. The scoot nav is ok, but as the gallery grows, you are forcing site visitors to continually scroooollllll to the right to find anything. You already have portrait 1 & 2 which are misleading, are you gonna eventually have portrait 3, 4, 5? Next, if you have scoot forward nav you better put a scoot back. The way it is now you have to scroll back or click that back link which takes you all the way to the beginning.

your displaying a portfolio with 2-3 images in a row. There is no emphasis on one piece of work (except for the large images). I think the technology would have been better used on a different project.

I'm loving the site Keegan, looks like a lot of time and effort went into it. A piece of art that deserves to be showcased!

Nice photography, but I don't like the navigation of the site. Why not have just one Portrait row? The scooting nav gets old quick, and all the scrolling is gonna push away alot of visitors.

Keegan, site looks great! Good and concise, and the photos aren't too shabby either…

The website looks great. Very simplistic in color and layout. I really gives the opportunity for the photographs itself to stand out. Nice!

Wow – maybe I don't get out enough but Ive never seen anything quite like your "scoot nav" technique. I might have been clicking through too fast b/c I didnt see you in any of the pics.
